| The following is very important; Please read:
We all want to make Heaven, but are you good enough to do it on your own? God is holy, and to enter Heaven, you must be good. Consider how good God sees you based on the following Bible verses:
-...all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.1 -Thou shalt not steal.2 Nor thieves... shall inherit the kingdom of God.3 -Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.4 -Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.5 -Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.6 -And be not drunk...7 ...nor drunkards... shall inherit the kingdom of God.3 -Honour thy father and thy mother.8 -For this ye know, that no....covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 9 -For the love of money is the root of all evil.10 -Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.11
God is holy, and must judge sin. Have you ever sinned? The Bible says: But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment11 and God shall judge the secrets of men.13 Isn't it true you have sinned and knew it was wrong? If so, you were sinning against your God-given conscience.
Creation tells us of God's existence and his glory: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.14 This creates a problem then, because everyone is guilty: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.15 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not, one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.16 Yes, God is love, but God is also holy and good. He cannot love good without hating evil. Therefore, if you have sinned (done evil), and deserve Hell, what if you were to die today? It is written: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.17 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.18
Anyone who has sinned even once deserves Hell justly: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.19 Remember, Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love God, so if you haven't always loved and obeyed God with all your heart, you have committed the greatest sin a person can ever commit.
If you refuse to repent and believe then you are saying that you would rather take the punishment for your sins and go to hell for them. Hell is described as: shame and everlasting contempt20 everlasting punishment21 weeping and gnashing of teeth22 fire unquenchable23 eternal fire24 everlasting destruction25 indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish26 blackness of darkness for ever27 tormented with fire and brimstone28 no rest day nor night29
Don't take eternity lightly.
No one earns heaven. It is written: We are all as an unclean thing, all our righteousness are as filthy rags.30 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.31 Even though we have sinned, God still loves us: The Lord is... not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.32 God commendeth his love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us33
God gave us his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of the virgin Mary, and lived a perfect and sinless life: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.34 Jesus is God in the flesh: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...All things were made by him...He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.35 Jesus answered them... I and my Father are one.36 Jesus was crucified for our sins, was buried in the tomb, and on the third day, rose again: For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.37 He gave his life for you.
There is no other way to Heaven: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.38 Are you willing to turn to God from your sinfulness? Jesus said, Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.39 This means you must humble yourself before God: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.40 If you will repent toward God and have faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ,41 you will be saved.
God will give you a new heart, with new desires: A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.42 By trusting in Christ, you will be born again, into God's family: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.43
Will you stop putting it off and receive God's free gift of eternal life? Repentturn to Godand believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before it is too late: Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near...44 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.45 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.46 Will you trust Jesus to save you from sin? Even now, you can pray to God, and he will forgive you.
Finally, if you've trusted Christ, it's important to read the Bible47 and pray daily48. You'll want to find a Bible-believing church,49 learn to share Christ with others.50 and be Scripturally baptized.51 Contact us for more information, or a free study.
